I was introduced to endurance sports by way of triathlon at a casual collegiate club sports level. I liked the challenge and I liked to explore the limits of what my body could do. As an amateur, many finish lines I crossed I thought would be my last — I thought endurance sports was just a phase in my life. But over the years I kept coming back to the start line at longer races. Then I landed a job at active.com, launching my career on the corporate side of endurance sports. The “phase” quickly became my life path with one of my proudest memories along the way (so far) being a Kona qualification and finish.
