I've been an endurance athlete since my freshman year in high school when I start running cross country and track. After competing competitively in college, I transitioned into multi-sport competition, focusing on my strengths, running and cycling. Most of my time now is on the bike (road, gravel, mountain, and indoor training), but I am slowly working getting back into running. Like many endurance athletes, this year has been difficult with most races being canceled. I was signed up for four ultra-endurance mountain bike race, and all but the Shenandoah 100 (SM100) was canceled. I was fortunate to have finished this year's SM100 in 9:34. I was hoping to go under 9 hours; however, under the current circumstance, I will take a sub-10 finish.
