So… it’s not just aero suits and finish lines, race helmets and sunshine. The hard work gets done with my PT, Tyler. Here we are working out a tight Achilles’ tendon with the Graston tool. Followed by laser, ice and stim. IM 70.3 Musselman less than three weeks away.
This was taken on my first outdoor Century ride. This was also a fundraiser ride where I partnered with the Local city Mission. The event went well, raised nearly $500 and all the donations went to the Mission.
There is a ride in Oakland called the Nifty 10/50. 10000' of climbing in 50 miles. However, it doesn't end where it started but at the top of the last climb.
Knowing some of the local climbs, I suspected I could get close to that on a ride in the South Bay.
Mission accomplished! 50.6 miles, 10600' of elevation. Fueled with several bottles of Infinit GoFar - slightly customized.
Horribly Hilly Hundreds in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin 6.15.19
150K distance with up to 9,283 feet elevation gain but ended up in 103 miles instead of 93 miles.
Even if gruelling, day was still glorious! Glad to have made it but not without my INFINIT!!
Thank you INFINIT for fueling me in this challenging course!!!
