August 14, 2018 - Coach Katie gets me to another PR!
This race starts with a 400 meter pool swim (50 meter pool) followed by a 15 mile bike and then a 2 loop 5k. The bike and run are on rolling terrain. This was my 4th time race at this venue and I PR'd by 1:42. My coach Katie (Malone Coaching) really has me performing well this year. This was not an "A" race, she had me ride 50 miles the day before and then run another 6 miles after the race. I probably would have been even quicker had she rested me the day before. No complaints!
